At PC Gaming Show, Ukrainian developer GSC Game World won the Most Anticipated Game nomination with its game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Having won among 130 other nominees, the project impressed the audience with its detail and fascinating storyline.

This event was reported by the Ukraine and Turkey portal.

“S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl recreates the atmosphere of the Exclusion Zone created after the Chornobyl disaster. The game offers a large open world, detailed graphics and innovative gameplay mechanisms that promise a deep immersion in the gameplay.

The GSC Game World team is grateful to its fans and experts, whose expectations and support motivate developers to strive for new heights. The success of this project not only raises the prestige of the Ukrainian gaming industry, but also strengthens its position in the international arena.

At the event where the rating of the most anticipated games was announced, Yevhen Hryhorovych, CEO of GSC Game World, shared details about the complex development process of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. He described the project as the largest and most difficult in the company’s career, emphasizing the large amount of work and challenges the team faced.

In the process of creating the game, the team faced technical problems and challenging tasks that required considerable effort and endurance. However, thanks to the teamwork, perseverance, and creativity, the developers successfully overcame these difficulties, bringing the project to a high level of quality. This experience reflects the ability of GSC Game World to effectively solve complex challenges, which once again confirms their reputation in the gaming industry.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R., a series of open-world and first-person shooter video games, is a product of the Ukrainian company GSC Game World, founded by Sergey Hryhorovych in 1995. In September 2023, the company received a new ultimate beneficiary, entrepreneur Maksym Krippa, who already has significant experience in the esports industry and owns several successful business projects.

Maksym Krippa has been the majority owner of the NAVI esports team since 2018 and has been actively investing in Maincast, a Ukrainian company that specializes in broadcasting esports competitions.
